AAO/AAOE Benchmarking Survey This year the AAO/AAOE is again compiling ophthalmology practice data. By submitting data your practice will have access to the survey’s dynamic reporting features. Participants will be able to access on-demand reports to filter results by practice focus, number of doctors, region, population and number of offices. Such data is invaluable to today's modern medical practices. ADG&A strongly advises its clients to participate in this worthwhile and valuable work. Eyeglasses Could Put Ophthalmologists Under DMEPOS Accreditation Requirements CMS has indicated the agency does not intend to make permanent the physician exemption from durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies (DMEPOS) accreditation allowed by Congress. Your participation in a quick survey is needed to show Congress and the Obama administration that ophthalmologists and other health care providers should be exempt from accreditation requirements for providing DMEPOS to their patients.
